STEP 1
Inventory Assignment of Components
In this initial phase, components needed for the build are identified and allocated from the inventory. This includes selecting the necessary hardware such as the motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage devices, and any additional peripherals or custom parts requested by the customer. Each component is carefully chosen to ensure compatibility and to meet the specifications of the build.
STEP 2
Assembly
During the assembly stage, the physical construction of the PC takes place. Technicians meticulously put together the components, ensuring everything is correctly placed and securely fastened. This includes mounting the motherboard, installing the CPU, RAM, and graphics card, as well as connecting all the necessary cables and power supplies.
STEP 3
Software Install (OS, Drivers, etc.)
Once the hardware is assembled, the next step involves installing the operating system and all necessary drivers that ensure the hardware components can effectively communicate with the software. This could include the installation of Windows, Linux, or another OS, followed by driver installation for the motherboard, graphics card, and other peripherals.
STEP 4
Hardware and Stress Testing
After the software installation, the system undergoes rigorous hardware testing. This includes stress tests to ensure all components are functioning correctly under heavy load. Tests like CPU and GPU stress tests, memory checks, and storage tests are conducted to identify any potential hardware issues.
STEP 5
Benchmarking and Performance Testing
Benchmarking involves running specific tests to evaluate the performance of the computer. This step assesses how well the PC performs under various conditions and compares its performance against industry standards or specific performance criteria. It helps in identifying any bottlenecks or performance issues in the system.
STEP 6
Quality Assurance and Packaging
In the quality assurance phase, the build is thoroughly inspected for any defects or issues. This includes checking for physical defects, verifying software installations, and ensuring that the build meets all the specifications and requirements. Once QA is passed, the computer is carefully packaged for shipping, with protective materials to ensure it arrives at its destination safely.
STEP 7
Shipping
This step involves shipping the fully assembled and tested PC to you. This includes handling all logistics aspects, such as choosing a reliable courier service, providing tracking information, and ensuring the PC is delivered in a timely and secure manner.
